Group Stream Cleanup

Looking for a service project for your school group or club? Interested in protecting the health of our streams and rivers? A stream clean-up may be the perfect volunteer project for you!

Volunteer groups are needed to complete stream cleanups of local waterways that have become littered. This opportunity is appropriate for groups of 5 to 20, depending on the location. Groups can choose their own date and times and will be provided with materials to complete the project. These clean-ups can either be self-guided (with a designated volunteer leader to collect the tools, direct the group, and return the supplies and report on the cleanup) or led by Stormwater Staff upon request. Please keep in mind that a good bit of time is needed to prepare for these clean-ups, as staff must select a location and secure the proper permissions for access.
